HARPER, Thomas Alton “Tom”
A resident of Glacier View Lodge, Courtenay B.C. passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17th, 2011, aged 89. Predeceased by his first wife Phyllis, he is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife Lois; sons Kent (Laurie) and Charles (Marlene); daughter Heather and step daughter Lynn (David); sister Noreen; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Tom was a World War II veteran who served proudly with the RCAF overseas.
A gathering of family and friends in celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, February 24th at 1:30 pm from Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, B.C. For those wishing, donations in Tom's memory to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
