December 24, 1957 - July 18, 2009
Veronika passed away accidentally on July 18, 2009. She was predeceased by her mother Irma Lebar. Veronika is survived by her husband Mark, father Martin, her loving dogs Angus and Henry, brother Vasilij (Debora) and a nephew Nicholas. Veronika worked as a letter carrier for Canada Post and in her leisure time enjoyed skiing and being with her dogs. She was Mark’s best friend and was a person who was always willing to help. If friends so wish, donations made in Veronika’s memory to the SPCA, Comox Valley & District Branch, Box 1284, Comox, B.C. V9N 7Z8 would be appreciated. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation & Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, B.C. on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 4:00 P.M.
