In Loving Memory ~
Violet Hryhor passed away November 11, 2022 at the age of 88.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughter Pam and son-in law Mike Noullett of Courtenay. Son Don and daughter-in-law Enid of Calgary survive her.
Vi is also survived by loving sister Elsie Linke of Danville, brother Art and sister-in-law Merle of Osoyoos and sisters-in-law Vi of Grovedale and Bev of Edmonton and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by son Bill, ex-husband Bill, parents Wanda and Benjamin Hein, brothers Danny and Herbert, sister Elfrieda Karaitis and brother-in-law Bill Linke.
Vi was a gentle soul who enjoyed decorating, gardening, reading, sewing, walking, travelling, family gatherings, visiting with friends and volunteered at the Hornby Island recycling depot for several years.
She inspired and encouraged other's to be their best self. She will be remembered for her gentleness, kindness, compassion and sense of humor. The family extends sincere thanks to Glacier View Lodge for providing compassionate care. Close family will gather in Hines Creek in the future.
