Mudge, Wilfred Harry

Harry passed away in the early morning of Sunday, February 27, 2005 after a brief stay in hospital. He was born in Victoria, but spent his life in the Comox Valley, growing up in Royston.
“Poppa” loved his work on the water and as an equipment operator, always having a story to tell about days past.
Harry was predeceased by his wife Eileen and step-son Bill. Survived and remembered by sons Keith (Margaret), David (Susan) and step-daughters Liz (Bob), Sheila (Roger). Also grandchildren: Jennifer (Rob), Shannon, Justin, Kyle, Sarah, Tonya, Morgan, Dee-dee, Christopher, Kimberly-Ann (Murray), Terry (D.J.), Cindy, Todd; and great-grandchildren, Serena, Richard (Kim’s son) and Josephine. Missing him also are sisters Joan and Penny, niece, nephews, and all the special friends throughout life.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Piercy’s – Mt. Washington Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue, Courtenay. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. Piercy’s – Mt. Washington Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
