December 27, 1943 - February 9, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce of passing of a great man, William Norman Huddleston. Bill loved to spend his time coaching soccer and baseball for the kids, as well as fastball for Hamilton Logging. He spent his working life as a trucker and retired as manager of CPT in Courtenay. At only 27 months old Bill was lost in the woods at the #8 mine and the miners and army were called to search for him over night. He was found on March 17th, hungry, but not hurt.

Bill is predeceased by his father Norman and mother Freda, sisters Norma (Ben and Barry) Woods, Elsie (James and Raymond) Morgan. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife Pat of 54 years, son Dale and grandchildren Brandon, Anthony and Vanessa.

The family would like to send out a special thank you to Dr. McFadden and Dr. Timmouth, as well as all the community workers who made it possible for William to be at home. They would also like to thank Ron Williams and John and Stephanie Whitelaw who helped the family everyday with his care.

He will be forever missed. There will be no funeral as per William's request. Donations can be made in William's memory to the Cancer Society or Charity of your choice.
