Dear editor,
I wonder if Mike Lazare (Record, Oct. 3) has really looked into who wants unwanted babies.
I hear there is a list of people wanting to adopt.
It amazes me that people will not carry a baby, and I say baby, for nine months. Is it such a inconvenience, to bring a life into this world?
I have ministered to women who have had abortions, and maybe not at first, but it usually messes them up down the road. Not only them, but the one who fathered the baby also.
I need to ask why do so many want to save eagles, and whales and animals, but not a child. We are going backwards not forward when we see so little value on a life.
I may not be able to write well, but I know many feel the way I do, and it's time we speak up more.
