Dear editor,
I grew up in Hamilton, Ont., where many hydro meters were in basements.
If no one was home to let the meter reader in, you received a postcard that you filled in from your meter and mailed in to the company. A five-minute job six times a year.
And BC Hydro wants to charge $420?! Highway robbery!
The provincial government should disallow it.
