The Comox Valley RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in locating a youth missing from the Courtenay area.
On July 16 police were notified that Taylor Johnson had not returned to residence after being out that day.
Taylor Johnson is a 13-year-old boy of native ancestry, about five feet, five inches and 112 pounds with black hair.
He last seen wearing bluejeans, a black T-shirt and black running shoes.
If anyone knows this boy's whereabouts or have information that would help locate him you are asked to call the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321.
