Dear editor,
Did any of the people who thought that having the new hospital on the height of Mission Ridge was a good idea take into account two things?
Where will North Island College expand to, if the land set aside for that has a hospital upon it?
Did any of you consider the effects of only one inch (2.54 centimetres) of snow Monday morning and the chain reaction crash at the bottom of Ryan Road?
Winter has not started. Can you imagine trying to get an ambulance up the hill, especially if you are in the ambulance?
My last diatribe citing science and the disciplines to be consulted in the choice of a site was ignored. Keep this in mind as you drive in the Valley these days, leading up to a multi-million-dollar expenditure.
