Dear editor,
Having read the letters to the editor regarding pro-life arguments in your latest publication, I really have to protest.
I respect these people's opinions but I do object that they want to inflict their so-called moral values on everyone else.
Are we going down the same road as the U.S.? Are we going to have these ridiculous "culture wars" that have crippled our neighbours?
This is the 21st century and we have enormous problems particularly over population, pollution, climate change and a political system that is failing.
It absolutely astounds me that we are obsessing over a woman's right to choose which is her individual right and is no one else's business.
Does it really impact the lives of anti-abortionists if a woman decides for whatever reason to end her pregnancy?
If they disagree with abortion they are entitled to that viewpoint but they cannot insist on imposing their morality on all women.
