Dear editor,

Organizers for the Comox Valley Santa’s Workshop express our gratitude to the community for its unwavering support this past Christmas.

The generosity of our community allowed parents and grandparents, with the help of our wonderful elves, to shop for Christmas gifts for 605 children, including 170 bikes.

Our hardworking volunteers put in over 3,600 hours during November and December to get toys and bikes ready.

We would like to thank the following: Emterra, Comox Moving and Storage, Cross Country Cycle Tour Society, Canadian Tire, ICBC Community Grants, D. Bell Designs, Cumberland Legion Branch 28 Fundraiser, Ashcroft & Associates, Harold Long, Dennis Aitken, Comox Valley Record, The Eagle “Eye on The Street”, The Goat, CBC Radio, Heine Von Shilling, Courtenay Family Chiropractic and Orthotics, Dale Dekowny, Co-operators First Credit Union Courtenay, Comox Valley Lions, all the stores that carried our drop boxes and everyone who donated cash, new and used gifts.
