Re: Garbage Police.
Maybe this automated garbage truck plan isn’t really such a good idea, after all.
If it’s true, as reported in your paper, that other communities have experienced greater contamination of their garbage because of the program, then maybe city council should consider scrapping it, rather than creating a whole new class of criminals - garbage contaminators.
The program is already over the top with the three monster cans replacing our one can plus a blue box on recycle day.
(What are we supposed to do with them?)
Maybe a reason for the program is to eliminate garbage collector jobs. But then, instead, to employ people to inspect our garbage?
This is an unacceptable intrusion on our privacy.
Give it up.
