LETTER – Reader disgusted with recent Fletcher column

Dear editor,

Shame on you Black Press and Comox Valley Record for publishing an opinion article written from a climate denier’s point of view (School officials join fact-challenged ‘climate strike,’ Sept. 24).

Climate science is not debatable; why would your paper publish such clear denial of the science?

This article is not an opinion; it is based on untruths and it’s spreading disinformation.

Why would your paper associate with a person who writes articles which denies the science of our biggest world issue ever?

I’m so disappointed to see such rubbish in your paper and I will no longer read it as news; it will be read in future for entertainment purposes only.
