Dear editor,Remember when you go to the polls, no matter which party you vote for, you will always elect a politician.What I find amazing is that for years and years, we see lists of the most distrusted or most disliked professionals and two professions always are on top. Politicians and lawyers.Recently, bankers have rose to take either in second or third place. The present distrust is deeper than ever before as witnessed by the ever-increasing number of public inquiries and royal commissions to review government actions and police activity.It is amazing that in May we are once again going to place the running of our lives in the hands of the people we trust the least.Armin Sachse,Comox Valley
