'Two innocent dogs' don't know their lives might end

Dear editor, I would like to comment on the story about the dogs Chum and Champ that might be sentenced to be put down.

Dear editor,

I would like to comment on the story about the dogs Chum and Champ that might be sentenced to be put down.

Think about people that murder other people; they don't get put down, so why should animals be any different?

If there is a potential risk (animals) then there should be such a thing as anger management, murderers get that option, why should someone's pet be any different?

Guilty or not guilty, there is no death sentence for humans in Canada.

There was evidence that these dogs did not do anything to this poor little Jack Russell. These are two innocent dogs that don't know their life might be coming to an end.

I feel for the owners of Chum and Champ, and I feel for the little Jack dog, but not for the owner of the Jack Russell, as she is turning blame on dogs that didn't do anything.

I don't know the owners of Chum and Champ and I don't know the owner of the Jack dog, but you know these dogs didn't do this damage.

These two dogs do not deserve to be put down. Let them go back to their owners. Get them out of the SPCA.

I only hope that the law can see there is no evidence of Chum and Champ or any dog for that matter that did this to the little Jack Russell, and that Chum and Champ get to go home asap, where they should be.

I hope this all works out.
