Riley Wheeldon has earned an exemption through PGA Tour Canada’s Order of Merit to compete at the Canadian Open at Glen Abbey Golf Club.

Riley Wheeldon of Comox has earned an exemption through PGA Tour Canada’s Order of Merit to compete at the Canadian Open at Glen Abbey Golf Club. Wheeldon, 22, earned his first victory last week at a tourney in Fort McMurray. He finished in a tie for third at the season opening Times Colonist Island Savings Open, and won the NGA Tour’s Kandy Waters Memorial Classic this year. Wheeldon brings the number of Canadians to 16 at this year’s Open.
