Sunnydale Ladies Golf hosted its charity day event June 16.

Courtenay charity golf event supports food bank

Sunnydale Ladies Golf had 34 ladies attend the June 16 Charity Day event.

This year, golfers supported the food bank by donating non-perishable goods and cash.

The results of play are as follows:

Low gross: 86 – Crystal Friesen, 87 – Carolyn Walker, 88 – Joan Rallison, 90 – Cathy McArthur, 92 – Holly Sanders, 100 – Nancy Booth, 101 – Laurie Appleyard.

Low Net: 72 Deb Ball, 77 Dianne Hing, 77 Betty Lund, 78 Bev Slater, 78 Penny Wagenstein, B/T Lois Westbrook.

Low Putts: 28 by Friesen.

Special draws went to Mandy Johns and Becky Kenner.
