Madman McKay Jays (8-0) continued their unbeaten run with a 13-6 victory over the Avengers and got by the West Coast Grinders 8-5 in Comox Valley Men’s Slopitch Tier 1 play last week.
The second-place Grinders edged Solo La Puntita 12-11. Solo rebounded with an 11-1 win over the winless Heaters 4.0. Seeco Slammers won both their games, 19-3 against the Heaters and 16-10 over the Avengers.
KNB Steamers continue to lead Tier 2, taking out Danny Glovers 9-2 and easily winning 12-1 over Rennie’s Rascals.
Weavers Leather Ballbusters kept pace with a 13-9 victory over the Rascals.
Coco Loco’s fell 10-9 to the CV Marine Misfits but won their first game of the year as they doubled Danny Glovers 12-6.
