The directors of the Point Holmes Recreation Association will soon be holding their annual general meeting at the new waterfront pavilion on Lazo Road beside the boat ramp. Please join us on Thursday, June 8, at 7 p.m. and pick up your 2023 membership stickers.
PHRA leases this beautiful waterfront resource from the Town of Comox, and our association’s mandate is “To maintain and make improvements to the boat ramp and adjacent recreational area, and to keep all facilities available to anyone who wishes to use them”
The PHRA is a small group of dedicated residents and friends of the Point Holmes area, and we have been stewards of the boat ramp and foreshore park along Lazo Rod since 1967.
Our maintenance budget is 100 per cent supported through corporate sponsorships, membership fees, donations and day use fees generated from use of the boat ramp. Membership forms are available on our website, pointholmesrecreation.ca, and may also be purchased through an e-Transfer to donate@pointholmesrecreation.ca. Please remember to add your name and address to the memo.
