Renegades rolling in Tier 1 of Comox Valley Mixed Slopitch

Tier 4 Brew Crew remains the only unbeaten team in the league

The Renegades are the hottest team in Tier 1 as they beat Sauced 11-5 and stopped Banner Landscaping Brewers 9-5 to move into a tie for first place in Comox Valley Mixed Slopitch.

The Brewers edged Average Joes 4-3 to be in the tie for first. Loose Cannons moved closer to .500 as they destroyed the Slammers 22-0 and laid a beating on VIIC Vikings.

Weaver’s Leather Ball Busters and the Malfunctions remain in a tie for first in Tier 2.

The Malfunctions doubled Randomz 16-8 while the Ball Busters were 14-5 winners over the Bandits. In other action, Auto King Royals doubled the Grind 10-5 while the Batterz outlasted the Wrecks 20- 19.

In Tier 3, The Avengers were finally beaten 9-4 at the hands of the Benchwarmers. True to their name, The Avengers roared back to take down the Peanut Gallery 13-6. C.V. Marine Misfits were easy 10-2 winners against the Benchwarmers.

Peanut Gallery nipped Elks Zombies 17-16. Tuls stopped the Misfits 13-5. EZ Ryders split, winning 11-6 over the Tuls but falling 12-7 to the Contenders.

Continuing their strong play, the Contenders also won 9-3 over the Zombies.

The Tier 4 Brew Crew remain the only unbeaten team in the league, stopping Rennie’s Rascals 17-7.

Slippery Kittens won a close one 11-9 over the White Spot Legends and the Mavericks were 15-6 winners against the Ballers.
