Sailfest in Comox June 23, 24

The Compass Adventure Youth Sailing Team is the youngest to sail the Diam 24. The oldest member is 15 years old.

“This is an incredible step up for this team,” says coach Andrew Robinson. He and his brother recently smashed the BMW Lasquetti Island Race record.

The youth team will race in the Sailfest in Comox June 23 and 24.

The entire racing weekend can be viewed from the Comox Pier where there will be music, free snacks, live music, and a beer and wine garden. The entire race will be commentated so spectators will get a full understanding of this racing spectacular.

Racing starts at 11 a.m. each day.
