The Comox Valley Strikers Volleyball Club recently celebrated the end of a successful 2014 season at the outdoor sand courts in downtown Courtenay.
The season featured 105 members with nine teams of players between 13-18 years and a Jr. Striker program of 35 enthusiastic 10-12 year olds.
"The executive would like to give our heartfelt gratitude on behalf of our parents and athletes to coaches Schopp and Delarea, Badock and Daniels, Taylor, Cousins, Mollerup and Moyls, Jorgensen and Sherman, Roelants and Campbell, Braidwood and Webb for their season of dedication towards our athletic growth and successes," a spokesperson said.
Comox Valley Strikers is a community volleyball club for youth athletes which competes from January to May. For more information on the club and spring and summer camps, visit the Comox Valley Strikers Volleyball website.
