The U14/15 Wildfire girls soccer team from Comox Valley United played a neutral site game against Mid Islde (Ladysmith) for the North Island B-Cup finals on the weekend.
The game was played in Port Alberni as both the Comox Valley and Ladysmith turfs were closed due to snow cover.
The Wildfire won 2-0. Sarah Messana and Cassandra Campbell scored the goals.
