Yanick ties for sixth at Squamish

March 18-19 CJGA tournament was Junior Worlds Qualifier event

Logan Yanick of Courtenay finished in a two-way tie for sixth place in the Boys 15-19 age division at the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) Junior Worlds Qualifier, held March 18-19 at Squamish Valley Golf Club.

Yanick shot rounds of 75 and 73 to finish at four-over par 148. Trevor Yu of Vancouver shot 74-74 to share sixth place with Yanick.

Jordan Lu took top spot with a seven-under 137 (68-69). That was three strokes better than Connor McLellan of Chilliwack.
