SwinkeyGolf Inc., was founded in 2009 by Courtenay resident and Canadian Tour Professional Benedictson. He supports businesses in the Comox Valley by continuing to manufacture the Swinkey in Courtenay, using over a dozen local companies, a press release from SwinkeyGolf stated.

These companies are involved in manufacturing, design, material procurement, shipping, and financial services. “The Swinkey golf training aid is now featured on the Titleist Performance Institute webstore, validating the hard work done by Brian and his team from Vancouver Island,” the press released noted.

The website is http://swinkey.com and the team recently launched their web blog to entertain and educate on the multi functionality and effectiveness of Benedicton’s invention.

On the website, Benedictson explains the Swinkey combines various training aids into one tool that fits into a golf bag.

The upcoming golf trade show in Florida will do much to spread the word about Benedictson’s invention. Since its inception in 1954, the PGA Merchandise Show has become the world’s most influential golf trade show and the global summit for the business of golf, organizers note.
