St. George’s United Church (505 6th St, Courtenay) invites the public to its Easter egg hunt on Sunday, March 31 at 9:45 a.m.

There will be an Easter church service at 10:30 am and all are invited to that as well. Coffee is on at 9:30 a.m.

There will be 700 eggs hidden throughout the church (except the sanctuary). Fake coins will be in some of the eggs, which children can redeem for various prizes. While children are hunting for eggs, adults are invited into the Fellowship Hall for coffee and morning snacks.

There is no cost to attend. Just come to St. George’s United on Easter morning.

St. George’s is also hosting a Good Friday service on March 29 at 10:30 a.m. For those who prefer an Easter Vigil, services will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 30.

St. George’s weekly Sunday service is at 10:30 am, followed by a coffee social in the fellowship hall.

Families with young children are very welcome. St. George’s has a diverse group of more than 30 young children who participate in the Children’s Church while their parents and grandparents remain in the main service.
