Comox Rotary’s second annual Drive-thru Shredding Day will be held Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Driftwood Mall parking lot, Courtenay.

“Who doesn’t have a box or two of outdated tax returns or old, personal papers cluttering up their garage?” said Comox Rotary president Maureen Fritz-Robert. “We are putting the call out to the public to load those boxes of old documents into their cars and come on down to the Driftwood Mall on May 4. We will take care of the rest.”

Partnering with Record Express, Comox Rotarians look forward to working with the professional shredding company.

“Secure document destruction is their business and we know we are in good hands” stated President Fritz-Roberts.

New this year is the addition of a second drive-thru shed lane to allow for quicker service.

Drive-thru Shredding Day will help Valley residents to declutter and at the same time support the good works of Rotary. Cost is $15 per banker’s box or equivalent. Cash, debit or credit cards accepted.
