Hop on over and join Courtenay Recreation for the Easter Promenade on Saturday, March 30 for children ages one to six years old with an adult.

This popular annual event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lewis Park stage and is $8 per family when registering in advance or $10 drop-in.

The event features an Easter Egg Hunt. Participants will be given egg hunt sheets to mark how many different kinds of items/eggs they can find. The egg hunt sheets are then redeemed for gift bags for each child participating.

Fun Easter crafts include a bunny ears headband, Easter baskets and colouring plastic eggs. The event will also have games like egg toss, Pin the Tail on the Easter Bunny and unstructured play with bubbles, balls and hula hoops.

The Easter Bunny will make a guest appearance and will walk around handing out mini chocolate eggs and posing for photos.
