The Comox Valley Children’s Choir is hosting a spring concert, titled “Hello Spring,” on April 20, at St. George’s United Church.

Led by artistic director Sophie Simard and assistant conductor Hannah Slomp, the Comox Valley Children’s Choir has been captivating audiences with its exceptional talent and musicality for over 25 years.

This spring, they are eager to showcase their repertoire, which includes a delightful selection of songs celebrating the arrival of spring.

“Our young singers have been working tirelessly to prepare for this concert, and we are excited to share the beauty of spring through music with our community,” said Slomp. “From classic choral pieces to contemporary arrangements, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.”

The concert will feature a diverse range of songs, including whimsical world music, popular classics, gospel, and even some songs that require audience participation.

The concert is at 1 p.m. with admission by donation. (Suggested donation is $10 each or $30/family.)

St. George’s is located at 505 6th St., Courtenay.
