The Comox Valley Printmakers Association is proud to invite the public to its first exhibition, Printed Matter at the Raven Hall Gallery on the North Island College Campus in Courtenay.
The Printed Matter exhibition is a diverse collection of hand pulled prints by members of the Comox Valley Print Makers Association (CVPA).
The association is a new organization, initiated in January 2016.
Our mission is to promote dialogue, foster artistic opportunities, and support educational activities in the print media arts. The artworks explore a wide range of printmaking mediums: etching, collagraph, mono print, relief, screen print, dry point and lithography.
The artists in the exhibition are Lorraine Buckrell, Teresa Colby, Susan Gillespie, Channing Holland, Gordon James, David Maclean, Morgen Parkin, Linda Perron, Clive Powsey, Terri Stelfox and Sara Vipond.
Exhibition runs March 27 to April 20; viewing hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 1 and 8 from 9 a.m. to 4pm.
