Renowned Comox Valley singer/songwriter, artist, poet and author Mary Murphy has created a series of instructional/educational videos aimed at helping writers.
Her ‘Gift Of Words’ series covers various issues writers may come across.
On April 3, Murphy launches her fourth episode, which covers the editing process. There will be time spent on passing (a.k.a. minor) characters, using editors for copy and content, the tiers (and tears) of the editing process and what they mean; creative thinking, as well as a reverse editing exercise,m which will teach participants how to elevate a paragraph using a few tips.
