The Vancouver Island Symphony is bringing Cuba to Courtenay. OK, not the surf, or the sand, but the sound? Absolutely.

The VIS will perform its electrifying show, ‘Cuban Hits,’ featuring the exceptional talents of Cosette Justo Valdés, Mayquel González, and Yaroldy Abreu.

Having shared their roots in La Habana, Justo Valdés, González, and Abreu bring an authentic Cuban flavour to the stage, promising an unforgettable musical journey. Renowned jazz players González, and Abreu have captivated audiences worldwide, and now they’re ready to set the stage on fire in Courtenay.

The performance will take place at the Sid Williams Theatreon March 10 at 2 pm.
