One person is in hospital following an early morning shooting in Courtenay.
Comox Valley RCMP say they received a report of a shooting in the 4600-block of the Island Highway just before 1 a.m. on July 26.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police do not believe this was a random act and are searching for the shooter.
