Drivers can expect delays at the bridge along Cox Road in Courtenay starting Nov. 12.
Mainroad North Island Contracting will be conducting a major redecking of the timber bridge through Friday, Nov. 15. Work on the bridge will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The bridge, itself, will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and noon, and from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. during the days for the work.
The crew will accommodate any road traffic as needed.
