Canadian Navigable Waters Act
Taylor Shellfish Canada ULC hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for approval of the work described herein and its site and plans.
Pursuant to paragraph 7(2) of the said Act, Taylor Shellfish Canada ULC has deposited with the Minister of Transport, on the online Common Project Search Registry (http://cps.canada. ca/) and under registry number 5401 or, under the NPP File Number 2021-505344 a description of the following work, its site, and plans: Existing tenure and operating intertidal shellfish aquaculture facility located in Mud Bay, approximately at 49° 28’ 13.8” N, 124° 47’ 8.88” W, located on unsurveyed foreshore or land covered by water being part of the bed of Mud Bay, block 18 of District Lot 149, Nanaimo District, containing 3.821 hectares, in Fanny Bay, in the Province of British Columbia.
Existing works include protective clam netting and tubes.
