Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) Temporary Use Permit 3C 23 : Intention to Issue

Notice is hereby given that the CVRD Board proposes to pass a resolution regarding a Temporary Use Permit that would allow a tourist accommodation use on a property that is zoned Rural Twenty (RU-20). The permit would allow the principal and secondary dwelling to be used for tourist accommodation. The requested permit term is three years. If the permit were to be issued, the applicants would have the option to renew once only for another maximum three-year term. The subject property is legally described as Lot A, Section 8, Township 9, Comox District, Plan 45442, PID 008-080-640 (4638/4628 Forbidden Plateau Road), as shown on the map.

The permit will be considered by the Electoral Areas Services Committee on April 8, 2024. A copy of the application and related information may be viewed at the CVRD office, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
The CVRD Board will decide permit issuance at their meeting on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 4:00 pm in the CVRD Civic Room.
