Predeceased by husband Lambertus Martinus, son Martin, son-in-law Mark, brothers Pete and John and sister Anna. Antonetta will be lovingly remembered by 2 sons, 2 daughters, 21 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, her brother Gerald (Nelly) and sisters Cor (Pete) Martens, Drena Merks, sister-in-law Nell Geven and many nieces and nephews in Canada and Holland.

Antonetta was a long-standing member of the Catholic Women’s League, the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre and the Marian Movement of Priests. Her hobbies included the 4H Dairy Club, knitting baby outfits for the pregnancy centre and layettes for new moms at St. Joseph’s Hospital and she volunteered many hours for years at the Courtenay Baby Clinic.

Mom was a VERY devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a friend to many. She will be remembered for her UNRELENTING hard work for her family, farm business, church and charities.

Prayers will be offered on Monday, April 10th, at 7pm from Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre 1101 Ryan Road. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, April 11th, 11am at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, with Father Marek Paczka, Celebrant, followed by interment in Courtenay Civic Cemetery.
