It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Mother, Barbara Ann Garvey (Werhun) on April 26th 2017. Barb left us to be with her husband and soul mate Tom Garvey whom she missed so much. Barb was also pre-deceased by her father John, mother Mary, Walter, brother Mike, and brother-in-law Harry. Barb is survived by her sisters Pearl and Helen (Phil), sister-in-law Lyn; daughters Tina, Carrie (Ryan), Kyla (Jim); grandchildren Sarah (Trevor), Zachary, Brady, Jordan, Mackenzie and Masen. Barb was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first great granddaughter, Hanna in June, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces, nephews and too many friends to count.
Born in Cumberland, Barb spent her life in her childhood home raising her three daughters and enjoying the outdoors along side her husband fishing, camping, fires at Comox Lake with friends and anything else her many, many adventures with Dad would take them. Barb was a beautiful person inside and out and will be greatly missed by so many.
Our hearts are broken Mom, but we take comfort knowing you're walking hand in hand with Dad once again.
