Born to the Rain People of Ocean Falls, BC on October 7, 1945. “Bridge ran through life at breakneck speed, always wanting to do new, interesting, creative things and ventures.” She loved “animals and people of every kind.” Bridge was passionate about her artwork and drew almost all the houses in Vancouver’s Chinatown.
    Bridget is predeceased by her natural parents, Arnie Dahli, Helen Obert and stepfather Emile Obert, cousin “Robbie” Scott, and good friend Ted Smiley.
    Bridget leaves behind her husband and good friend Bill, their 2 dogs Kelly and Scruffy and many close relatives and friends.
    Special thanks to the Public Health and Homecare nurses in Courtenay, Catherine and Graham Judd, “Cousin Barbara”, Pastor Gordon Carter and all her good friends and family for their unending love and support.
    “She wished to leave the Earth by taking God’s hand and returning home.” A Celebration of Life will be held on Bridge’s birthday October 7th from 2 -4 p.m. in Sooke at 9251 Invermuir Road. Bridge requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the SPCA or Courtenay Hospice (339-5533).
