LEVESQUE, Cheryl Lynne

Passed away quietly in the hospital, surrounded by family, on December 21, 2010 at the age of 63. Predeceased by her father Howard Slater (1978) and her nephew Jacob Pratt-Siemens (1992). Survived by her husband, Terry Levesque; her mother, Lou Slater; her sister, Donna Siemens (Al) and their sons, Troy (Lesley), Steven (Carrie), Scott (Jennifer), and Shawn; her brother, John Slater (Joyce), and their daughter Amber; her brother, Hal Slater, and his son Anthony; her son David Levesque (Brenda), their daughter, and the joy of her life, granddaughter, Haley Cheryl Lynne Levesque; her sister-in-law Geraldina Sulsbury (a special thank you for all your love and support during this hard time); her adopted family, Angelique Graves, daughters Kayla and Kindra. Last but not least her faithful canine companion “Baby Georgia.”

Born in Edmonton, Alberta on January 3rd, 1947; her father and mother being in the air force were stationed in Germany and moved to Richmond, BC in 1957.

As a younger woman Cheryl loved to socialize and was well known for being an excellent dance partner. Always known for doing her own thing she was certainly one of a kind. A joy to spend time with, she always had an ear to lend, advice to give, or a story to tell. As she grew older these traits never left her, only became more refined and wise. Her smiling and lovingly forceful personality will never be forgotten.

A woman to be reckoned with, Cheryl always took pride in all that she did including her marriage of 37 years, her job of 20 years, and her gardens and yard which always looked beautiful, full of flowers, fruit trees, and lovely ornaments and ponds.

Respecting Cheryl's wishes she will be cremated and a BBQ Memorial will be held in the summer months.

Remembered for her kind heart and her insistence on giving to those she loved, Cheryl will be fondly remembered, dearly loved, and sorely missed by all those that knew her.

Rest peacefully.
