Passed away August 10, 2008 in Burnaby, BC at the age of 92. Predeceased by his loving wife Helen, daughter Jane Davis, grandson Lee Davis, and five siblings. Con is survived by his son Bruce (Bernadette), granddaughters Jennifer and Dayle, sisters Iva (George), Kay (Harry), Eva (Verne), Ethel and many nieces and nephews. Con left farming in Saskatchewan in 1963 for a career as a carpenter on Vancouver Island, settling for many years in Union Bay and later Royston. He loved boating and fishing and puttering in his wood shop. Sincere thanks to the staff of the New Vista Home in Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Vista Society or the BC Lung Association.
