DARYL ANDREAU EGELAND
1951-2017
With the love of his family around him, Daryl passed away July 1, 2017 at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his father Henry, Daryl will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 36 years Maria, and his children Nicole (James), Amanda, Keanan (Jennifer), his grandson Lino, mother Phyllis, brother Gerald (Cathy), sister Diane, brothers-in-law Frank, Enzo (Paula) and Sam (Jennifer), mother-in-law Rosalina, and his nieces and nephews.
Born in Victoria, the Comox Valley was his home for the last 31 years. An active member of the community as a coach, player and supporter, over the years Daryl was a part of Komox Masters Real Baseball League, Comox Valley Baseball and Minor Hockey Association’s and the Comox Valley Curling Club.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, July 9 at 4:00 p.m. at Highland Field. In lieu of flowers, Daryl’s family wish that you make a donation to Pancreatic Cancer Canada.
