Kane, Edward (Ted) David
1955 - 2005
Ted passed away Thursday, May 5, 2005, with family by his side, after a brave and lengthy battle with cancer. Ted was born Sept. 15, 1955 in Oshawa, Ontario. He was predeceased by his father, Maurice, his mother, Beth, and his brothers, Ken and Dan. Ted is in the hearts of his wife, Karen, and daughters: Emily, Della and Jenna; mother-in-law Miriam Renison, his sisters: Cathy Baggott, Karen (Harv Ross), Beth (Rob Williams), Susan (Carl Walker), and Diane (Ken Wilson); his brothers: Peter, Ross, and Tom (Patti McKittrick); brothers-in-law: Rick (Chris) Renison, Glenn (Purple) Renison, and Jim Renison; a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Ted is remembered for being easygoing yet adventurous. He loved camping, hiking, fishing, and boating with his wife and his girls. Ted’s artistic interests were expressed beautifully with stained glass, burls, drawing and painting.
During Ted’s life, he worked mostly with the logging industry and for the school district. The family is thankful for all the support of his friends and co-workers.
A Celebration of Ted’s life was held Sunday, May 8th at Royston Community Hall.
