Meredith, Heather Rose
July 15, 1959 - Dec 11, 2005
Heather, 46 years old, passed away peacefully on December 11 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox, BC.
Born in Nanaimo but resided in the Comox Valley since childhood. She was a printer by trade working many years for the defunct Free Press and also Classic Printing using her talents and creativity.
She is predeceased by her father Emmett and her sister Catherine. Will be dearly missed by her mother Anne Meredith; soulmate Chris Watts; son Kaden Malbeouf; nieces Theresa and Jennifer Meredith; nephew Christopher Meredith; great niece and nephew Victoria and Connor; and many dear close friends.
Heather was an avid camper enjoying the scenery and the pleasures of spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Karaoke was a passion of hers - never to sing but to enjoy the music and the company of like-minded people.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital, the Homecare workers and nurses, Dr. Ptak and many others for their kindness and help in keeping Heather comfortable.
Special thanks to Gladys for the comforting bell - it rang on Sunday.
A Celebration of Heather’s Life will be held in the new year - date and place will be published in the Record.
