Lawrence Hutchinson, of Cumberland, B.C., passed away peacefully on July 28, 2002 at the age of 102. He is survived by his daughter Joyce (Robert) Williams, two grandchildren: Blake and Paulette, five great grandchildren: Paige, Melissa, Sam, Matthew, and Corey. He was predeceased by Jennie, his wife of 60 years.
Lawrence was born in England in 1900 and has called Cumberland his home since 1918. His occupation as a miner allowed him to work in the various mines in the area. He was an incredibly active man who had been known to ride his bike until the age of 90. By his request, there will be no funeral service. Mt. Washington Funeral Chapel in care of cremation arrangements.
