You were the most generous, kind and most hilarious uncle in the world. You always encouraged me to keep playing my drums and now that you're gone from all of us, I will never hear your encouragement. Your loss has left such a huge hole in all of our hearts and you are that missing part. Now that you passed we feel empty inside. We feel like we lost our soulmate, someone to talk to every day, and when I look outside my window I always expect to see your smile waking me up and now I look into the sky I see your smile looking down from the heavens. We will always love, respect, and greatly remember the life we all had together, the happiness, the joy, and the love you gave for everyone around. All of us will greatly miss you and will always love you forever. To the best, kindest, outgoing, and caring uncle who every lived.

Michael leaves behind 3 sisters: Suzzanne, Sandra, Linda, 1 brother Patrick and many loved friends and relatives.
A Gathering will be held Saturday, July 25, 2009 at his sister Linda Hacking at 619 - 12th St., Courtenay. Close friends only from 1-3pm and after 3pm, with no disrepect, closed to immediate family.
Michael will be missed by many.
