Lindstrom, Yngvar Ringholdt

Yngvar passed away in Comox, B.C. after a brave and dignified fight with cancer. Born in Oslo, Norway, he had been a resident of B.C. since 1953. He worked mainly as a carpenter and built several splendid homes. He loved nature, literature and art, and was himself a gifted artist who loved the west coast scenery and way of life. We will miss his gentle strength and warm smile.
He is survived by his loving wife Gerd who has been his best friend and companion for more than 56 years, his son Terje (Beverly), daughter Elisabeth (Lee), granddaughter Amy, step-grandchildren: Skye, Temujin, Vanessa, Dawn, Rose and Danielle. Predeceased by his brother Kristian; he will be missed by his brothers Arne (Hege) and Svein (Inger), relatives and friends. Private family arrangements entrusted to Comox Valley Funeral Home and Crematorium, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay.
