Seven-year-old Cash Halkyard won the 4-6 class at the BC Motocross championship series, which ended with the final round Sept. 23/24 in Quesnel. Cash won the first round in Port Alberni in May, and the second round in Kamloops the next month. In the next round, he returned to Kamloops for a second-place finish on the Labour Day weekend, and placed second again at the final round in Quesnel. He won the championship by earning the highest point total.
